What do I need to send you for the December closing?

Use cases

The four questions clogging your inbox.

Deadlines and VAT

Standard, simplified or exempt scheme: the agent gives the right deadline for the file and reminds the client what to prepare.

« Under the simplified scheme, your installments fall in July and December, and the annual return in early May. »

Missing documents

Before a closing or a filing, it lists what's missing and explains where to upload it.

« We're missing your October sales invoices and the bank statement. Upload them to your client portal. »

Legal form and company formation

Sole trader, single-owner company, limited company: it explains the broad lines and offers a discovery meeting with the accountant.

« For a solo consulting business, a single-owner company is worth discussing. Shall I book 30 minutes with Ms. Delorme? »

Prospects and fee quotes

It qualifies (legal form, revenue, number of employees, software) and passes a clean request to the partner.

« For a limited company with 2 employees, the subscription starts at €180 excl. VAT / month. I'll pass this on for a detailed proposal. »

  1. Step 1: Inform accurately

The agent restates the general rule of the scheme, without ever deciding on the firm's behalf.

  2. Step 2: Check the file

It locates the client (fiscal year, scheme) and identifies the next deadline that applies.

  3. Step 3: Request the documents

It lists precisely what's missing and says where to upload it.

  4. Step 4: Pass it to the firm

The request reaches the partner summarized, with a reply time announced to the client.

Hello, I run a single-owner company, when is my VAT return due? I think I'm on the simplified scheme.

Hello! Under the simplified VAT scheme, you pay two installments during the year, in July and in December, then you file the annual return by the 2nd business day after May 1 if your fiscal year follows the calendar year.

I've checked your file: your fiscal year does follow the calendar year. So your next deadline is the December installment. Would you like me to ask Ms. Delorme to send you the estimated amount?Step 1

Yes, and do I need to send you anything beforehand?

To calculate the installment as accurately as possible, we're missing your October sales invoices and this month's bank statement. You can upload them directly to your client portal or send them to me here. I'm passing the request to Ms. Delorme, she'll reply within 48 business hours.Step 3

Questions from accountants

What accounting firms ask us.

Could the agent give bad tax advice?
It doesn't advise: it informs about general rules and deadlines, and transfers to your firm any question that involves a choice. You define the list of topics where it must stay silent.
Can it access my clients' files?
Not by default. It answers from the trade knowledge base and your public documents (fee schedule, document upload procedure). A connection to your practice software is under consideration.
Will my clients know they're talking to an AI?
Yes, the agent introduces itself as "the firm's assistant" and always offers to hand over to a member of staff.
Is it compatible with professional confidentiality?
The agent only stores what the client writes, in Europe, and shares nothing with third parties. Conversations can be deleted and exported. A template privacy notice is provided.
How long does it take to set up?
Five minutes for the base, one hour if you import your fee schedule and internal procedures.

Give your team back the time for the files.
